Body Energy Empty

Now the body and the brain of human beings if pulsing with energy. Endergy cannot be desroyed so what happens to it when the body dies? One theory of mine is that the energy is released from the body and could possibly take on its appearance being within it so long and that could be whats ghots are. feel free to discuss.
